Spud State Cares
As a contract graphic designer at Spud State Cares, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to helping adults with disabilities, I’ve had the privilege of transforming their visual identity. After completing an internship with them from May to August 2023, I was invited back in October 2023 to continue contributing as a contractor.
During my time with Spud State Cares, I led a comprehensive rebranding initiative, which included developing crafting a cohesive brand presence across all platforms. I revamped their social media with the new visuals, created detailed branding guidelines, and developed a wide array of marketing materials.
This project has been a fulfilling experience where I've combined creativity with purpose, helping Spud State Cares visually communicate their mission of growth, connection, and financial support for adults with disabilities.
My work at Spud State Cares extended into a comprehensive rebranding effort, where I redeveloped every visual aspect of the organization.
Starting our contract work together in October 2023, I redesigned the organization from the ground up, including the logo, colors, typeface, and overall brand style, and created a comprehensive branding guide and updated signage to reflect the new identity.
This included designing business cards, brochures, event banners, merchandise, and collateral such as postcards, flyers, notecards, certificates, and tax receipts. I managed email marketing campaigns, provided photography and illustration services, and introduced the idea of an organized sponsorship and donor appreciation events.
The impact of this rebranding was substantial. I developed and launched their new website in January 2024, which has since driven nearly 3,000 additional site visits compared to the previous year’s traffic—a growth that spurred the organization to relocate due to increased demand for their services.
